What a year! 2017 marked our fifth year of trading with over 50 events managed by the ever-growing Ginger Owl Productions team.

The year kicked off with production management of US comedy show the Impractical Jokers UK Arena tour followed closely by the National Television Awards and accreditation management for Toyota Flow, the launch of the new Toyota C-HR.  February was busy with the annual BRITS accreditation and artist liaison for the second BBC Asian Network Live at Hammersmith Apollo.

Teenage Cancer Trust Shows returned to the Royal Albert Hall in March closely followed by our annual management of the Harlem Globetrotters and guest ticketing for the Who’s UK tour.

In May Ginger Owl provided Artist Liaison staff for the closing ceremony of the legendary White Hart Lane, home to Tottenham Hotspur football club.  We also provided guest list management for the UB40 UK tour and accreditation for an exclusive Haim show at Islington Assembly Hall.

In June we again had multiple teams across the country as we supplied a range of services for our clients.  Starting with the UK filming of the Late Late Show with James Corden, we quickly moved on to Download Festival, Parklife Festival, Landscape Artist of the Year, Isle of MTV in Malta, Adele’s Wembley Stadium shows and Community Festival in Finsbury Park.

In July, we managed Artist Liaison for Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park, F1 Live in Trafalgar Square and Hola! London at the O2 in July.  We also supplied again over 20 staff for Corona Sunset Festival at the Greenwich Peninsula and managed accreditation for new clients RideLondon.

August was again a busy month with production advance for both V Festival sites in addition to Artist liaison for the Hylands site and site wide accreditation the Weston Park.  We also provided Accreditation and Artist Liaison Services for the newly launched Wework Summer Camp at Eridge Park.

The final part of the summer festival season saw the Ginger Owl team jetting over to Gibraltar for MTV’s Gibraltar Calling where we supplied Artist Liaison and Accreditation services.

The Autumn proved to be another busy one with various projects including a private 50th birthday party OH50 in Sussex, artist liaison for the BBC Introducing 10th birthday event at Brixton Academy and another arena tour with the US comedy quartet Impractical Jokers.  We also supplied accreditation services to Children in Need at Wembley Arena, Noel Gallagher’s album launch event at York Hall, Sam Smith’s album launch at the Tate and U2 and David Guetta performing an exclusive concert for the MTV EMAs in Trafalgar Square.

November was occupied with new event Stylist Live where we had a team of 30 talent liaison staff including stage management, ground transport, guest list and accreditation staff. The event was ‘festival of inspiration’ at the stunning Olympia.

The ongoing management of the Jools Holland autumn UK tour, the National Arenas Association and the European Arenas Association also keeps the team busy throughout the year.

We want to say a massive thankyou to all our clients, staff and industry colleagues who have made our 5th season one of the best yet.  Happy Christmas and New Year and hoping to see you all in 2018.
